Patt Baldino’s work has recently gained national attention in New Artist International book, which compared her paintings with those of Vermeer and the Dutch masters. Baldino’s dramatic still life paintings of fruit and flowers reflect her impressive technical skill and keen eye for composition. A pinpoint of light on a glass or the play of shadows in her rich palette invite us to explore the work deeply.

"I love the old masters and often take a classic approach to many subjects," says Baldino. “The sharp contrast of light and dark is very satisfying. I also paint in an impressionist style, with loose brushstrokes that radiate the energy of colors.”

Patt Baldino’s work has been exhibited at the National Academy Museum and in other group gallery shows over the past several years. Her work is currently on view at the Aspire Gallery in Scarsdale, Phyllis Lucas Gallery in New York City, Madelyn Jordon Fine Art Gallery in Scarsdale and the Christopher Gallery in Stony Brook, NY. International Artist magazine will feature her in its upcoming “Masters of the World” series. Patt is delighted to be included in the Masters Series, among other artists whose work she admires.

Patt earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and also studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Fine Art. Her teachers include David Leffel and Everett Raymond Kinstler. She works in oils to produce still life subjects, landscapes and commissioned portraits.
