Patt Baldino's work has recently won awards from the 112th Annual Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Exhibition and the Ridgewood Art Institute. Baldino also has gained national attention in New Artist International book, which compared her paintings with those of Vermeer and the Dutch masters. Baldino's dramatic still life paintings of fruit and flowers reflect her impressive technical skill and keen eye for composition. A pinpoint of light on a glass or the play of shadows in her rich palette invite us to explore her subjects with passion.

"I love the old masters and often take a classic approach to many subjects," says Baldino. I used a sharp contrast of light and dark in my works. I also paint in an impressionist style, with loose brushstrokes that radiate with an energy of color.

Patt Baldino's work has been exhibited at the National Academy Museum and in other group gallery shows over the past several years. Her work is currently on view at Fieldstone Fine Art Gallery in Ramsey NJ, Rye Fine Art Gallery in Rye NY, Fine Arts Gallery of Bronxville in Bronxville NY, and Flat Iron Gallery in Peekskil, NY.

Patt started her art education at the High School of Art and Design, earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and also studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Fine Art. Her teachers include Nicki Orbach, Victor Zaldivar, David Leffel, Wolf Kahn, and Everett Raymond Kinstler.
